I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in lifting equipment in Montreal West, a Service Technician / Electromechanician -Shift by day, 40H/ week on site.
Your function
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Inspection, maintenance and repair of lifting equipment at customer sites
- Electrical, mechanical and electronic troubleshooting
- Inspection of equipment after repairs
- Discussing and advising customers on repairs and safety issues
- Reporting on each intervention
- Working at heights
- Travelling on the road
- Other related tasks

The ideal candidate for this position is resourceful and has a very good capacity for learning in order to be at ease in his/her work. Manual work requiring good physical condition to perform tasks optimally.
Your profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
- DEP or DEC in electricity/industrial mechanics or related field
- Knowledge of CSA, OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI regulations, an asset
- English, an asset
- Valid driver's license
- Permanent position, 40 hours over 5 days, with possibility of double overtime!
Salary
75K to $95K depending on experience, in accordance with the company's collective agreement, since this is a unionized environment.
