I'm currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector Level II to join an innovative manufacturer in the clean energy sector, producing certified pressure equipment.

As part of the Quality Assurance team, you'll be responsible for performing inspections throughout the entire production process - from material reception to final assembly.
You'll play a key role in ensuring every product meets ASME and industry quality standards.

Main responsibilities:
- Verify compliance with all applicable codes and certifications (ASME and others)
- Perform in-process and final visual weld inspections
- Review Mill Test Reports and nameplates
- Conduct internal and external inspections (ASME and other applicable standards)
- Oversee hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests
- Prepare non-conformance and technical data reports
- Coordinate welder qualification tests and maintain certification records
- Manage calibration of measuring instruments and schedule NDE testing
- Liaise with the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec and prepare client inspection documentation

- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Control within welding or pressure vessel manufacturing
- CWB Visual Inspector Level 2 or 3 certification or SNT-TC-1A equivalent
- Solid knowledge of ASME codes (Sections VIII div.1, V, II, IX)
- Knowledge of European PED standards is an asset
- DEP in Welding and Fitting or equivalent (asset)
- Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and reliability
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Bilingual (French and English) is a strong asset

Working Conditions :

- Full-time, permanent position
- Hourly rate: $30 to $40 depending on experience
