I am currently recruiting a Production Team Lead for a manufacturing company specializing in the assembly of technical products, located in Longueuil.
This opportunity is intended for a professional with initial leadership experience gained as a junior team lead, senior assembler, trainer or key resource on the production floor.
You will coordinate the daily activities of an assembly team during the evening shift. You will organize the work, ensure that priorities are followed and support employees in maintaining efficient operations.
The company is looking for an autonomous, organized and hands-on individual who can become a reliable leadership resource for the team.
Your Responsibilities:
-Coordinate assembly activities during the evening shift
-Assign tasks according to production priorities and available skills
-Monitor work progress and daily production targets
-Respond to unexpected situations and adjust the organization of work
-Ensure operational continuity and effective communication
-Support employees and maintain a positive team environment
-Participate in onboarding and training new employees
-Promote autonomy and compliance with established procedures
-Ensure that quality and workplace health and safety standards are followed
-Help resolve operational and compliance issues
-Identify delays and recommend practical improvements
-Communicate important results and issues to management
-Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives
Requirements:
-Experience working in a manufacturing environment
-Industrial, electromechanical or electronic assembly experience preferred
-Initial experience coordinating, training or leading employees
-Approximately one to three years of leadership experience considered relevant
-Ability to organize work and manage competing priorities
-Motivation to progress toward broader management responsibilities
-Autonomy, natural leadership and sound judgment
-Problem-solving mindset
-Good understanding of production, quality and workplace health and safety requirements
-Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
-Technical diploma or operations-management training considered an asset
Conditions:
-Permanent position located in Longueuil
-Permanent evening shift
-Annual salary between $65,000 and $75,000, depending on experience
-Technical-product assebly environment
-Position primarily based on the production floor
-Autonomy in coordinating the daily activities of the shift
-Opportunities to develop toward broader supervisory responsibilities
