Hi,
I'm Simon Mathé, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in engineering and manufacturing leadership roles. I'm currently looking for an Operational Excellence Director to join a major international manufacturing group. This key position will lead the site's transformation journey and ensure the full implementation of the company's operating system toward world-class performance.

Your Role

Reporting to the Site Director, you'll be responsible for driving the deployment of the company's Operational Excellence framework (BCOS-type) in alignment with both regional and local master plans. Acting as a transformation leader, you'll guide managers and shop-floor teams through continuous improvement, capability building, and performance culture reinforcement.


Key responsibilities include

-Supporting, coaching, and auditing work processes linked to the system's pillars.
-Leading the site's goal-setting and execution process (Hoshin planning).
-Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all KPIs.
-Performing data analysis and driving continuous improvement throughperformance reviews.
-Coordinating root cause analysis (RCA) activities with production teams to close performance gaps.
-Leading daily management routines and monthly operational reviews.
-Mapping loss areas and building the site's productivity improvement pipeline.
-Acting as the site's ambassador for the operational excellence roadmap.
-Supporting digital initiatives such as MES implementation and Industry 4.0 projects.
-Conducting regular self-assessments and developing action plans for improvement.
-Promoting internal and external benchmarking to drive best practices.

Your Profile

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical,ndustrial, or Food).
-5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 in continuous improvement (TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma).
-Strong knowledge of performance systems such as IWS or WCM.
Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives in a multicultural context.
-Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Minitab, MS Project; experience with SAP is an asset.
-Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead without formal authority.

Excellent coaching and communication skills with a passion for developing people
Advanced English level (interacting frequently with international colleagues).
