Job description
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the world of pipelines in Montreal, a pre-sales engineer to be hired immediately. Permanent position - 37.5 hours/week
Job responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Compile technical information from field and administrative teams
- Estimate and propose technical solutions to your customers according to their needs
- Design appropriate technical solutions for customers and propose the overall concept
- Calculate costs based on material prices
- Ensure that the project is feasible by communicating with in-house staff and suppliers
- Prepare technical bids and presentations
- Other related tasks

- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering

We're looking for someone who's an expert in his or her field, who can propose innovative solutions in the world of cylinders and hydraulic equipment. Our ideal candidate will be able to make proposals and manage complex projects to tight deadlines.
What we offer :
-At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
-Experience in the hydraulic cylinder and valve industry
-Bilingual English/French - plus English profile
-DEC minimum
- Salary: $70k - $90k depending on experience and diploma
