I'm looking for an Senior Financial Analyst FP&A :

This role acts as a strategic business partner to operational teams. It focuses on supporting financial performance and operational efficiency through cost analysis, process optimization, and decision-support in an industrial environment.

The professional actively contributes to financial performance monitoring, budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as cost analysis related to operations, procurement, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Performance & Cost Analysis
- Monitor operational performance indicators and analyze financial trends
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Analyze and explain variances related to standard costs (materials, labor, overhead)

Costing, Inventory & Supply Chain
- Support the calculation and updating of standard and product costs
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure inventory accuracy
- Analyze procurement, transportation, and warehousing costs
- Contribute to strategic analyses such as make-or-buy decisions
- Monitor excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory and recommend actions to optimize working capital

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Close
- Participate in the monthly financial close process
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts for operations
- Analyze variances and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders

Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Perform financial analysis for capital and operational investment projects (CAPEX/OPEX), including ROI assessments
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial and operational data within ERP systems
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of financial tools, systems, and processes

Your profile

Skills
- Strong expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis
- Experience in an industrial or supply chain environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
- Ability to collaborate closely with operational teams
- Strong analytical mindset, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional accounting designation (an asset) or significant experience in cost analysis
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operational finance or cost accounting
- Fluency in both French and English
