I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for a Real Estate Accounting Technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.

- Collect, review and interpret financial data from property managers and business partners.
- Organize and ensure the monthly receipt of financial information, while validating its consistency and accuracy.
- Manage cash flow and coordinate activities related to day-to-day financial operations.
- Actively participate in various special mandates and ad hoc projects according to organizational priorities.
- Develop and present financial results and budget forecasts to relevant customers.
- Respond effectively to requests from internal and external stakeholders, and plan customer meetings accordingly.
- Ensure that internal control mechanisms are rigorously applied and operate in accordance with established procedures.
- Steer the annual budget planning process, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements.
- Monitor and analyze monthly management reports, identifying deviations from authorized budgets.
- Coordinate annual audits, preparing and following up on files required for audit purposes.
- Monitor the accuracy of monthly and year-end accounting reconciliations prepared by the team.

- Between 5 and 7 years' experience in accounting
- CPA designation
- Excellent management of priorities
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to manage unforeseen or complex situations
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent command of MS Office software, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of the HOPEM accounting system an asset
