Key Responsibilities
- Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing all payroll-related requests and changes
- Handling employee benefits and RRSP/RPDB contributions
- Producing periodic reports for all workers' compensation boards
- Maintaining the Workforce Now database (e.g., vacation rates, employee benefit/file metrics, leave program details, residency status, etc.)
- Preparing year-end payroll reports and employee T2200 forms as needed
- Calculating employee commissions
- Supporting the accounts receivable department by applying incoming payments, monitoring COD accounts, and performing related tasks
- Assisting with general accounting duties (training will be provided)
- Collaborating with the Human Resources team

Key Requirements
In-depth knowledge and experience with ADP/Workforce Now (with the goal of moving away from comprehensive services), minimum 5 years

- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of payroll legislation across various Canadian provinces
- Strong communication skills: bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), for communication with employees and national vendors
- Membership in the Canadian Payroll Association is an asset
- Familiarity with SAGE is an asset
- Must be responsible, honest, discreet, and possess strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt
