I'm looking for a Payroll Supervisor for my client near Mile-End. This is a permanent, 100% face-to-face position.
Your responsibilities:
- Execute and supervise complete payroll processing for all company employees.
- Validate payroll calculations, source deductions, hours worked, bonuses, taxable benefits, bonuses, statutory holidays, expense accounts, Réer, etc.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations (labor standards, taxation, contributions, etc.).
- Manage the production of Records of Employment (ROE), tax slips (T4/RL-1), and annual reports.
- Manage CNESST, WSIB files in the payroll system.
- Act as primary point of contact for complex payroll issues.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, sales and logistics teams to ensure systems integration and accurate information sharing.
- Participate in updating or improving the payroll system.
- Manage Bill 90.
- Manage vacation and sick leave banks in the payroll system.
- Manage group insurance files in the payroll system, invoices and premium analyses.
- Train, coach and supervise payroll team members as required.
- Ensure compliance of internal and external audit files.
- Manage and analyze the Evolia punching system (hours, leave requests, importing hours into the payroll system, etc....).
- Support payroll for Placements Becmar.
- Prepare various payroll reports upon request.
- Degree in accounting, administration or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in payroll processing, including 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of provincial and federal payroll legislation.
- Proficiency in payroll software (Employer D).
- Proficiency in attendance software (Evolia).
- Excellent command of Excel and good analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, thoroughness and discretion.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
