My name is Caroline, and I’m a Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle both temporary and permanent placements on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.
I am seeking a Financial Controller for my client, a company in the construction sector. This is a permanent position in Sherbrooke.
- Manage the full accounting cycle and prepare financial statements
- Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analyze financial performance and variances
- Lead the accounting team and ensure deadlines are met
- Optimize processes and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure tax compliance and file required returns
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing
- Collaborate with operations to ensure effective expense tracking
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience in accounting/financial control (construction industry experience is a plus)
- CPA designation (a plus)
- Strong understanding of the accounting cycle and financial statements
- Solid knowledge of accounting and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
