I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for an Financial Analyst for my client based in Sherbrooke. This is a permanent hybrid position.

- Lead financial modeling and forecasting activities to support the organization's strategic directions
- Analyze financial and operational data to extract trends, interpret variances between results and forecasts, and make recommendations
- Develop and maintain analytical tools to provide a detailed understanding of direct and indirect costs, as well as overall profitability
- Identify and explore new avenues of financing, in particular through public programs or available budgetary mechanisms.
- Actively monitor financing mechanisms in order to optimize institutional sources of revenue.
- Support internal departments in reading and interpreting financial performance indicators
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted strategic partner
- Prepare reports and presentations for decision-making bodies, ensuring the clarity and relevance of the information communicated.
- Evaluate and improve administrative and financial processes to increase efficiency and consistency
- Participate in the implementation of new technological systems or the evolution of existing tools, particularly in the field of integrated management (ERP)
- Contribute to the automation of certain analytical tasks and the modernization of monitoring and reporting tools
- Handle several files simultaneously, while respecting deadlines and expected quality standards

- Have a graduate degree in a relevant discipline (finance, economics, administration or equivalent)
- At least five years' experience in a similar role, ideally in an institutional or public setting
- Proficiency in analytical tools, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to communicate effectively in French and English, both orally and in writing.
- Possession of a professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA) or additional management training is considered an asset
