Your responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all accounting activities, related to general accounting, accounts receivable management and accounts payable management.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Develop, implement and maintain effective accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage internal and external audits in collaboration with external auditors and ensure that all recommendations and issues identified are appropriately resolved.
- Supervise the accounting team, including recruitment, training and professional development of staff.
- Analyze financial trends, identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend corrective action where necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial and analytical support for specific projects or strategic initiatives.
- Ensure the company's tax and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all tax obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner.
- Actively participate in long-term financial planning and contribute to the development of strategies to maximize profitability and profitability.

Your profile:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a recognized accounting designation (CPA or CMA)
- At least 5 to 7 years' relevant experience
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate autonomy and initiative
- ability to work as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage priorities, plan and organize work
- Demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, mastery of basic and intermediate formulas)
