My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.

I am looking for a CPA Controller for a distribution company located in Anjou. The Controller will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting and team supervision. This position is permanent, full-time, with the possibility of remote work.



Your role:

- Prepare financial reports for owners and directors on a monthly basis
- Analyze the results, explain the variances with previous periods, make recommendations in connection with these analyzes
- Supervise regulatory reporting in tax matters
- Prepare and manage annual and quarterly budgets and compare them to actuals
- Coordination with external accountants to complete year-end reports and corporate taxation
- Management and balancing of inter-company transactions
- Manage and coordinate employee payroll and group benefits
- Participate in the end of month process
- Participate in the recovery process
- Assist the finance director and collaborate on special projects;

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA title.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
