I am looking for an accounts payable specialist for a permanent 35-hour position with a construction and real estate company located near Jarry Park.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the entire accounts payable cycle, including data entry, processing, and payment tracking.
- Make monthly entries and adjustments related to collective accounts.
- Participate in the monthly closing by ensuring data accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain and apply internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of accounting operations.
- For construction checks, ensure that the required documents (CSST release letters, CCQ, MRQ certification) are obtained prior to any disbursement.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts rigorously.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of supplier account statements and follow up on missing invoices.
- Process expense reimbursement requests from owners and employees.
- Manage executive credit card account statements.
- Assist the accounting teams with month-end and year-end closings.
Your profile:
- Bilingual (French/English), spoken and written, in order to communicate with English-speaking colleagues.
- Experience with a large volume of invoices.
- Three years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Yardi Voyageur 7 software is an asset.
