My name is Romane, I'm a Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent, on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I am looking for an accounting technician for my client in the construction/real estate sector. This is a permanent, on-site position in Boucherville.
* Role in the accounts payable cycle
o Opening supplier accounts
o Processing invoices, corporate credit card statements, and preparing payments
o Analyzing account aging and statements
o Preparing receipts
* Role in the accounts receivable cycle
o Invoicing commercial customers
o Monitoring accounts and rents receivable
o Updating price lists (residential leases)
* Accounting role
o Performing bank reconciliations
o Preparing GST-QST returns
* Other tasks
o Managing the billing inbox
o Receiving visitors, receiving packages
o All other related tasks
The candidate must be proactive, dynamic, rigorous, autonomous, resourceful, and a good team player;
The candidate must have a strong ability to manage priorities, organize their work, and be versatile;
The candidate must have a strong ability to deal with suppliers;
Hold a DEC in accounting or equivalent;
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Work experience in the construction or property management sector is an asset;
Knowledge of Maestro and Hopem software is an asset;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook);
