I am looking for an accounting technician for my client who specializes in construction. This is a 35-hour permanent contract, located near a metro station in the city center.
Job overview:
We're looking for an experienced accounting technician in the construction industry to join a dynamic team in downtown Montreal. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, as well as the follow-up of receipts and compliance documents.
Main responsibilities
-Process supplier invoices and make payments
Manage customer invoices, collections and payment follow-up
-Prepare and process payroll (including CCQ, CNESST, DAS)
-Follow up on receipts and documents required for projects
-Perform bank reconciliations
Maintain up-to-date accounting records in Maestro
Profile required
-Significant accounting experience in the construction sector
-Good knowledge of processes related to CCQ payroll, receipts, subcontractors, etc.
-Mastery of Maestro software (an asset)
-Autonomy, thoroughness and organizational skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
