My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent hybrid position in Brossard.
Main duties:
- Prepare employee expense reports for each payroll;
- Update supplier banking information as required;
- Perform daily customer invoicing;
- Maintain accounts receivable tracking files;
- Record payments
- Prepare and make bank deposits;
- Manage, analyze and create credit notes in collaboration with the manager;
- Process customer credit applications and maintain credit terms;
- Participate in monthly accounts receivable follow-up meetings;
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager on ad hoc projects;
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end and financial year-end processes;
- Perform all other related tasks required for the smooth running of the department.
Profile sought
- AEC or DEC in accounting;
- Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in a similar position;
- Proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel;
- Bilingualism (French-English); the position requires a good knowledge of English, since over 70% of our suppliers are in the United States and 50% of our customers are outside the province of Quebec.
