My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for a Payroll Technician for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Technician's main duties will be :
- Maintain accounting for certain balance sheet and income statement items for several companies
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare accounting analyses and reports for management
- Record payroll
- Participate in inter-company transaction reconciliation process
- Participate in year-end process (audit)
- Support accounting team members
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes
- DEC in accounting
- 3 to 5 years' experience
- Knowledge of accounting standards and commodity taxes
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
- Functional English (spoken/written) (over 90% of distributors and customers are English-speaking);
