I am looking for an Accounting Controller for a company in the environmental sector in Laval.
Your tasks will include:
-Coordinating and supervising a team of three accountants, while harmonizing practices between the four subsidiaries.
-Managing monthly closings, preparing consolidated financial statements, and analyzing variances from budgets.
-Updating accounting procedures, ensuring tax compliance, and preparing files for audits.
-Monitoring daily cash flow, optimizing supplier payments and customer reminders to improve cash flow.
-Supervising invoicing, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset and inventory management.
-Participating in continuous improvement projects, automating reports, and contributing to the evolution of accounting systems.
-All other related tasks.
Your profile:
-Bachelor's degree in accounting
-CPA (an asset)
-5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience
-Experience supervising employees
-Experience with intercompany transactions
-Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables)
-Knowledge of Sage50 (an asset)
-Bilingual in French and English to communicate with suppliers and customers located in other provinces
