I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for an Accounting Clerk for my client based in Sherbrooke. This is a permanent position.

Mission

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations (invoicing, payments, collections).
- Process and validate customer and supplier invoices, and monitor accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Produce simple internal reports (cash flow, monthly tables, basic indicators).
- Contribute to monthly and annual closings in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
- Apply internal procedures and participate in improving accounting practices.
- Support sales operations: quotes, orders, invoicing, and administrative follow-up.
- Ensure consistency between sales, operations, and accounting.
- Manage customer and supplier files and respond to routine administrative requests.

Your profile

- College diploma in accounting or administration.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an SME.
- Solid experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Very good command of French and functional English.
- Proficiency with Excel for data tracking and analysis.
- Knowledge of accounting software, Acomba being an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with rigor and autonomy.
