I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounting Clerk for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent on-site position.
- Create the project in our accounting software;
- Take steps to terminate the project with the customer and suppliers;
- Documentary follow-up on subcontractor purchase orders (ARQ, signature of subcontracts);
- In collaboration with the project manager, invoicing invoices based on the progress of work, and monitoring payments;
- Monitor budgets with the project manager;
- Place orders (POs) for projects in Maestro.
- Consult daily reports to accumulate quantities of hours, bulk, etc;
- Manage site events (breakdowns, claims);
- Track accruals in Maestro and summarize for project manager;
- Attach delivery notes to invoices
- Validate transfers between projects in Maestro
- Carry out and follow up on the invoicing of contract holdbacks;
- Request releases from suppliers;
- Issue supplier cheques;
- Request certificates from CSST and CCQ;
- Follow-up on several related files;
- Actively participate, through attitude and behavior, in developing and maintaining a respectful, harmonious and stimulating work atmosphere for all;
- Collaborate with all colleagues and promote teamwork;
- Inform drivers and operators about the requirements of Law 430 concerning heavy vehicles.
- Ensure compliance of trucking practices with Law 430 regulations.
- Implement mechanisms to monitor and evaluate driver and operator behavior.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position;
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in accounting or other related training;
- Experience in the construction industry (an asset);
- Knowledge of whistle-blowing and receipt management procedures
- Very good command of MS Office Suite (Word and Excel), intermediate level and above;
- Very good command of French (oral and written);
- Organized, able to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously;
- Good initiative, discretion and sound judgment;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good concentration skills;
- Attention to detail, meticulous and quality-oriented;
- Dynamic, energetic, versatile and a good team player.
