Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.

The Accounting and Finance department uses integrated accounting systems to ensure the regular and timely disclosure to owners of the results necessary for decision-making.
The team in this department oversees the application of appropriate accounting methods and procedures, including the diligent entry of accounting data and the timely provision of financial information relevant to decision-making, thus ensuring an orderly decision-making process based on a clearly defined business reality. This department adequately supports management control within budgetary constraints and informs owners of the overall performance and results of real estate activities.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Director:

- Participate as a member of the executive committee.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including cash flow statements.
- Prepare monthly management reports.
- Conduct monthly financial analyses and reconcile actual results with budget forecasts.
- Prepare annual operating and corporate budgets, including five-year projections.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the year-end audit process with external auditors.
- Supervise employee payroll.
- Monitor and implement internal controls and procedures as needed.
- Prepare meetings with the Board of Directors and/or Head Office.
- Prepare and contribute to financial results presentations for stakeholders/owners.
- Calculate rent increases in accordance with the parameters authorized by the
- Administrative Housing Tribunal.
- Represent the company before the Administrative Housing Tribunal when necessary and support the leasing department during renewals and other matters.
- Support the maintenance and construction departments in preparing reports.
- Collaborate with all relevant government authorities.

Profile:
The ideal candidate is organized, capable of multitasking, and skilled in problem-solving and prioritizing workloads. They must be able to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output and meeting deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting
- CPA designation
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the real estate sector
- Previous experience supervising staff
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
