How you’ll make an impact
In this role, you’ll apply your vendor management expertise to lead the strategic management of suppliers and service providers, ensuring FCC secures the best possible value.
As a relationship builder and skilled negotiator, you’ll work with internal leaders and external vendors to translate our resourcing needs into clear contract specifications, support RFx activities, monitor vendor performance and play a key role in vendor governance.
Bringing your analytical mind and clear communication style to the table, you’ll use supply chain best practices to manage risk, boost performance and help our vendors bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to FCC.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors while serving as the primary point of accountability and escalation
Define, monitor, and manage vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs to ensure service quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee vendor contracts across their lifecycle to ensure commercial compliance, value realization, and effective renewals or amendments.
Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor-related risks while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards
Partner with internal stakeholders to align vendor capabilities and outcomes with business needs and strategic objectives
What you'll bring
Required Qualifications:
A degree in business, finance, supply chain management, operations management, or administration and at least five years of procurement experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Advanced contract negotiation skills
Experience with national and/or multi-national vendors
Training in outsourcing methodology, industry trends and vendor management best practices
Possession of an SCMP designation, or equivalent, would be considered an asset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset
