Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :
$81,005 - $109,595Support the timely and accurate preparation of corporate and commodity tax payments, tax working papers and filings for FCC.You’ll provide analytical and technical expertise in tax compliance, ensuring all tax reporting reconciles to the general ledger and government tax records.
What you’ll do:
- Support filing tax returns and preparing documents for reporting
- Stay current on emerging tax and regulatory developments, including industry best practices
- Perform routine tax compliance tasks and provide support to the Tax Compliance team
What we’re looking for:
- An analytical thinker who can help others understand complex financial issues
- A clear communicator able to share financial information with team members
What you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or commerce
- A CPA designation (or are currently pursuing a CPA designation)
- Comprehensive understanding of the tax and regulatory environment, accounting policies, corporate tax policies and financial accounting and reporting principles (IFRS)
- At least two years of relevant experience would be considered an asset
