Job Description
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Take medical histories, perform exams, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Treatment Planning: Develop evidence-based care plans, order and interpret diagnostics.
- Prescribing: Prescribe medications within scope.
- Referrals: Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on disease prevention, and self-care.
- Collaboration: Work within interdisciplinary teams.
- Leadership/Education: May supervise (nursing,) and provide education and program planning.
