We are looking to hire a team leader for our loyal client, a cleaning and maintenance product manufacturing and Distribution Company.
A team leader would have the following tasks while operating a forklift and being bilingual.
*** Receiving:
Receiving physical goods
Identifying raw materials
Receiving goods in Sage
Managing QA Receiving stock
*** Shipping:
Preparing orders by priority
Preparing labels for orders to be shipped (FedEx, Puro, regular transport, etc.)
Assisting with order shipping to meet customer deadlines
Responsible for customer shipping standards
Verifying order preparation and packaging QC
Coordinating pick-up appointments
Welcoming and serving customers and carriers upon receipt of goods
*** Transport:
Manage logistics and ensure the best cost for Puro (Canada Post vs Puro)
Manage logistics and ensure the best cost for LTL & TL
Transport costs for invoicing
Grid showing when to use which carrier
Advice on transport costs for sales quotations
*** Collaboration with the warehouse:
Updating bin locations in Sage
Locating finished products
Continuously updating locations in Sage
Participating in physical inventory.
Supplier orders (POs)
*** Miscellaneous:
Backup Assistance with batch analysis and quality control
Any other related or unexpected tasks
