Our client, an industrial company, is looking for a laboratory technician to join their team.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift

Salary to be discussed

Work location: Saint-Laurent

The laboratory technician is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Performing regular analyses of all plating tanks and the waste treatment system
  • Recording and documenting the results of the analyses in the appropriate logs and reports on a daily basis
  • Ensuring that all plating tanks and the waste treatment system are maintained at optimal operating levels at all times
  • Update and maintain all test documentation, including documents and reports related to environmental regulations for all levels of government and reports and documents related to research and development
  • Ensure that all employees comply with the safety rules defined by the safety committee.
  • Assist with quality-related issues
  • Order and/or purchase chemicals as needed
  • Assist with plating procedures
  • Check parts during processing to be proactive in preventing quality issues
  • Ensure that the company complies with applicable safety regulations at all times.
  • Ensure the safe storage of chemicals.
  • Supervise the collection and disposal of waste in accordance with regulations.
  • Participate in federal, provincial, and municipal audits to ensure that the company complies with environmental norms, standards, and practices and complies with all regulations in order to maintain or obtain the necessary permits.

Requested skills
