Description
One of our clients is looking for an Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for managing the entire engineering department and ensuring that customer orders and product development are completed in accordance with quality standards, compliance requirements, and customer needs.
Your detailed tasks will be as follows:
-Ensure and improve communication between sales, projects, and engineering
-Increase the efficiency of the engineering department
-Prepare and conduct customer meetings (understand quotes and needs, read technical specifications, make technical proposals, sign projects, etc.)
-Ensure the integrity of technical data in the corporate information system (articles, product nomenclatures, drawings, procedures, work instructions, etc.)
-Manage design with all stakeholders and departments
-Identify operational problems, propose action plans, and implement them
-Monitor costs and manage them to avoid overruns
-Supervise laboratory tests
-Validate projects and their quality
-Participate in tests on construction sites and locomotive fleets
-Maintain a network of supplier contacts and negotiate prices with them
-Calculate inventories
-Assist with the implementation of production lines
-Manage the human resources aspects of your engineering team (disciplinary management, participation in job interviews, performance evaluations, etc.)
-All other related tasks
