Description
More specifically, your duties will include:
-Performing regular analyses of all plating tanks and the waste treatment system
-Recording and documenting analysis results daily in the appropriate logs and reports
-Ensuring that all plating tanks and the waste treatment system are maintained at optimal operating levels at all times
-Update and maintain all test-related documentation, including documents and reports related to environmental regulations for all levels of government, as well as reports and documents related to research and development
-Ensure that all employees comply with the safety regulations set out by the Safety Committee
-Assist with quality issues
-Request and/or purchase chemicals as needed
-Assist with plating procedures
-Check parts during processing to be proactive in preventing quality issues
-Prepare chemical solutions for use in material processing
-Ensure the safe storage of chemical materials
-Supervise waste collection and disposal in accordance with regulations
-Participate in government reviews to ensure that the organization complies with environmental norms, standards, and practices and that it complies with all regulations in order to maintain or obtain permits
-Other duties as required
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (overtime until 5:30 p.m., as required only)
