Job Description

The role of the Warehouse worker is to make sure we deliver quality goods in the timely manner to our customer instructions, while maintaining products in excellent condition. To achieve this, you must ensure the accuracy of the inventory. In addition, he/she will perform mechanical assembly of some of our products as needed. Training will be provided and offers excellent careers advancement opportunities.

The candidate will report directly and work closely with the Branch Manager. The candidate will follow procedures and work instructions and represent Everest in providing reliable, quality service to our customers.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Perform physical receiving of products
  • Maintain receiving/shipping records
  • Book the various carriers
  • Assisting Sales Team with in/outbound shipments
  • Ensure the cleanliness and security of the warehouse
  • Prepare customers PO from pick list
  • Proceed to the shipping of the goods
  • Operate lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists
  • Perform mechanical and instrumentation assembly
  • Configure and calibrate equipment when needed
  • Any other related task

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Responsible and structured
  • Ability to adapt quickly to last minute changes
  • Good ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed
  • Ability to work alone and autonomously
  • Manual ability, meticulous
  • Commitment to Health and Safety

Working Conditions:

  • Use of required personal protective equipment
  • On occasion you could be asked to work outside normal hours and/or overtime
  • Occasional Driving may be required
  • Capability to use the necessary tools: lift, tother machinery, or equipment
  • Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions
  • Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects as per Everest's Lifting H&S Program
