Join our team to embark on an innovative project developing a robust system for position, navigation, and timing measurements.

The objectives of the project:
  • Pushing the boundaries of low-orbit satellite navigation using Direct-to-Cell signals
  • Development of multi-signal receivers capable of processing signals in real time
  • Development of positioning algorithm using Signal-of-Opportunity (SoOP)
  • Development and validation of a first series of prototypes
  • Data acquisition, laboratory test and real environmental field test (Flight testing)
Skills Development:
  • Design of advanced navigation systems
  • Complex signal processing

  • Communication, navigation, surveillance and timing (CNS) technology

  • Ph.D. (obtained within the last 5 years) in the field of Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication engineering, with focus on advanced signal processing, satellite communication

  • Good knowledge of communication systems, mathematics, signal processing
  • Good knowledge of doing simulation, programming, and using computational tool in research
  • Proven track of record in scientific collaboration through publication, conference presentation, workshops, etc.
  • Good skills and experience in research laboratory
  • Be a good team player with problem-solving attitude
Start Date and fellowship duration

This postdoctoral fellowship would start as soon as possible. A contract of 1 year will be offered. Following a performance review and available funds, this fellowship could be renewed annually for an up to 2 additionally years.

To accommodate administrative delay, the starting date can be automatically postponed until September 2024 without affecting the 1 year's duration. Any additional change would be subject to the professor's approval.
