In this role, you will be responsible for implementing standardized processes and practices across all Enbridge Business Units and regional locations, thereby promoting uniformity and efficiency in project delivery. You will also provide subject matter expertise in the development of procedures and templates related to Instrumentation, Control Systems, and Electrical Engineering.

What you will do:
- Develop and maintain engineering governance documents, such as, Procedures, Standards, Guides, Deliverable Templates, and much more. (Examples: DBM standard, Design Review procedures, Procurement procedure, etc.). 
- Identify value opportunities to streamline and optimize engineering execution workflows and processes. 
 Demonstrate a good understanding of a Project lifecycle from concept to completion.
- Independently and actively represent Engineering at workshops or stakeholder reviews to brainstorm ideas for improvement or optimization of process workflows related to engineering activities on projects. 
- Facilitate training to all project stakeholders, virtually and in-person, to bring awareness and emphasize adherence to engineering governance standards and adoption of applications/tools. 
 Facilitate stakeholder review meetings, drive discussions, make decisions to accept/reject comments.
 
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Process Control Systems, Electrical, or related). 
- In Canada, a Professional Engineering designation P Eng with APEGA is required. 
- Minimum of 6 years of related Engineering experience. 
- Experienced working on various types (Liquids, Natural Gas, Renewables) and sizes (small and large) of Oil and Gas projects. 
- Electrical-Instrumentation-Control Systems (EIC) engineering interface experience an asset. 
- Familiarity of Engineering interfaces with Procurement, Contract Management, Project Management, Quality, Construction, and Commissioning. 
- Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with other departments to achieve goals. 
 
Working Conditions:
- Office environment.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
