Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Citizenship, the Corporate Citizenship Senior Advisor plays a key role in advancing Enbridge’s community investment and employee volunteering and giving strategy. In this role, you will support the planning, delivery, and execution of corporate citizenship initiatives aligned with the enterprise-wide Corporate Citizenship framework.

You will manage strategic local and national community investments, support the employee volunteering and giving program across the enterprise, and administering associated budgets. The Senior Advisor builds and maintains strong relationships with community partners to support business priorities and enhance Enbridge’s reputation.

Note: This position is up to a 12-month temporary employee term.

What You Will Do:

  • Execute and leverage Corporate Citizenship programs efficiently, accurately, and professionally to support team objectives.

  • Lead delivery of Enbridge corporate giving and Enbridge Fueling Futures, the employee volunteering and giving program, for assigned regions and major cities.

  • Strategically promote corporate giving and employee volunteering and giving initiatives and their impact.

  • Support the implementation of enterprise processes and governance to ensure consistent data management, decision documentation, activation, evaluation, and reporting.

  • Develop and manage effective engagement opportunities with strategic partners, regional initiatives, and key community investments, including alignment, activation, representation, and execution.

  • Build and manage relationships with charitable and non-profit partners, including grant review and implementation, sponsorship management, performance objectives, investment leveraging, and reporting.

  • Support ongoing awareness, campaign facilitation, administrative activation, and execution of employee giving and volunteering initiatives.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in public affairs, communications, business administration, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or related field.

  • 6 years of related experience in, and understanding of, a large, publicly traded company with operations in multiple regions. Energy industry preferred. Note candidates without a degree, will require 9 years of work experience.

  • Experienced in community investment, employee volunteer and giving programs and capacity building initiatives. Benevity technical experience is asset

  • Strong strategic/project planning skills, logistics and administration across multiple complex projects and regions.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with well-developed prioritization, time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • A valid passport to travel between the US and Canada.

Working Conditions:

  • Office based role.

  • Occasional travel.

  • Typical professional work hours of 40 hours per week that could extend to weekends and evenings for special projects or emergencies.
