What you will do:
Collaborate with the Operations Director Leadership team and Operational VP to establish team goals and priorities for future operating model for Distribution Operations in Canada and the United States.
Develop and manage a multi-year dynamic roadmap for standardizing operations, prioritizing safety, reliability, synergy savings, risk, implementation ease, and change management.
Manage and refine initiatives according to project management principles and change management methodologies.
Lead change initiatives using project and change management techniques, involving cross-functional teams as needed.
Liaise between Ontario Operations Leadership and functional teams for transparency, alignment, synergy targets, and initiatives. Also, strategize, support, deliver, and implement executive priorities across GDS Ontario stakeholders.
Who you are:
Related university degree or equivalent experience with seven-plus years’ experience or nine-plus years of previous field operations experience, or an equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
Senior-level technical proficiency and experience in procedural changes, technical standards, risk management strategies, and business process improvements.
Strong financial business insight with expert knowledge of O&M and Capital budgeting processes.
Extensive project management and technical proficiency in procedural changes, standards, risk management, and process improvements.
Strong financial insight and expertise in budgeting.
Outstanding communication, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional people skills and high performance in leadership.
Preferred: PMP Designation
