We are looking for a Senior Advisor, Commercial Portfolio Optimization who will be accountable for overseeing and supporting the financial analysis and evaluation of domestic and international commercial activities, including customer contracting and recontracting, value chain optimization initiatives, acquisitions, and divestitures across our Liquids Pipelines (LP) business.

What You Will Do:
Review, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models to evaluate business opportunities including value chain optimization initiatives, customer contracting/recontracting, organic growth, system expansions, regulatory initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Support the development of asset-level strategies aimed at maximizing enterprise EBITDA and long-term value.
Partner closely with Business Development, Commercial, Corporate Development, Regulatory, Finance, and Fundamentals teams to ensure financial models and analyses accurately reflect proposed investments.
Provide insights, risk assessments, and value-based recommendations to strengthen business cases and improve deal outcomes.
Support LP’s long-term strategy and key regulatory initiatives through strong financial acumen and advanced financial modelling expertise.
Independently articulate financial implications and scenario-based outcomes to diverse stakeholder groups with varying levels of financial literacy.
Prepare and support materials for senior management and Board-level reviews to inform capital allocation and strategic commercial decisions.
Who You Are:
Related University Degree with 6+ years of directly related experience with a Professional Designation (CFA, CPA, or MBA). Applicants with lesser years of experience will be considered at position title that aligns with their experience and skillset.
Demonstrated expertise in financial valuation, modelling, and economic analysis.
Highly analytical with strong critical-thinking skills and a keen attention to detail.
Collaborative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to challenge ideas and improve processes.
You demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across business functions.
Preferred:
Familiarity with North America regulatory constructs and midstream business models an asset.
