Job Description:
The incumbent is mainly responsible for the technical support of our customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Reply to emails and telephone calls related to field problems or requests for technical information about our products
- Diagnose problems, guide the customer and solve problems
- Communicate internally and externally to ensure a thorough follow up of the problem resolution process
- Write diagnostic reports
- Identify and document repetitive or major issues
- Support the Sales department in answering technical queries
- Manage and maintain the training room in order
- Prepare training documentation
- Train staff and customers on our products
- Test new products before production release
- Verify and manage technical bulletins
- Apply RMA and quality assurance procedures
- All other related tasks
Qualifications:
- DSC in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Fluent in French and English (bilingualism required). English fluency is required to communicate with our international customers and suppliers
- Flexible in task management
- Customer-oriented and attentive to customer needs
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Available to travel outside Canada
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years experience in technical service role or equivalent
- Knowledge of high voltage and high frequency an asset
