Description
Edmonton Catholic Schools is accepting teacher applications for a Junior High Teacher (assignment is Construction, ELA Grade 7, Religion, and Health ). This opening is a regular position at St. Thomas Aquinas that will begin on August 28, 2025. St. Thomas Aquinas is an Elementary and Junior High School located on the south side of Edmonton (420 Desrochers Blvd SW, Edmonton, AB T6W 1A7).
Teachers under contract with ECSD have benefits with 100% of health benefit premiums paid by the Division.
We encourage all applicants to apply who have the following experience:
- Experience working and teaching First-Nations, Metis, and Inuit children
- Experience working with children who've experienced trauma and a trauma informed lens
- Experience working with students who have severe emotional and behavioural challenges, and other learning difficulties
- Experience with restorative justice practices
