Description
The position includes carrying out all or some of the management responsibilities related to instructional and educational matters, human, financial, material and information resources.

Bachelor's degree in education or undergraduate university degree in an appropriate field of study attesting to a university study program of a minimum duration of 3 years
Graduate program of university studies including a minimum of 30 credits in management relevant to the job of school administrator. (A minimum of 6 credits must have been acquired prior to the first appointment to a senior staff position in a school and the remaining credits should be acquired during the five years following such appointment. In exceptional cases, the school board may refer a candidate who has not accumulated six credits to a selection committee)
Five years of experience in a teaching position
Three to five years of relevant experience
Permanent teaching permit issued by the Ministère de l’Éducation (MEQ)

Commitment to the implementation of evidence-based practices
Mastery of the English and French languages (oral and written)
Recognized as an effective teacher
Evidence of ongoing professional development

Knowledge and proven ability in the application of Universal Design for Learning
Proven ability to work collegially with other leaders within a team
Proficient in the use and integration of technology
