The Regional Quality Manager is responsible for supporting quality within their region and integrating the best national practices and policies.

How YOU will make a difference:
- Support strategic, business and operational planning including budget and resource planning
- Draft, review and update Quality Assurance related SOPs
- Guide the organization through regulatory, normative and Dynacare requirements to ensure processes meet their intent
- Organize and participate in external inspection processes from regulatory agencies, accreditation providers and clients
- Lead internal quality assurance audits training and engaging staff through the process
- Oversee and monitor performance on external quality assessment and alternate assessment programs
- Representing the voice of our patients and customers, pro-actively monitor and report quality performance metrics and escalate concerns prior to their potential impact
- Perform an annual quality review in collaboration with the organization
- Establish initiatives for continuous improvement in quality (ex. reliability, on-time delivery of products, etc.) and support activities to develop and implement changes
- Support management of occurrences impacting quality, recommend corrective action and conduct follow-ups to ensure effectiveness of resolution
- Mentor and engage staff in quality programs and educate about regulatory requirements
- Nurture a culture of safety first, quality for patients and customers, service, performance, innovation, adaptability, and consistency
- Validate regional H&S needs and work in partnership with the corporate H&S team to validate audit findings, develop local policy, and help support recommendations
- Other Region-specific tasks and duties, as required, and in consultation with the Director, Quality Assurance and the Regional Operations Director
- Provide professional support to all external and internal clients in answering inquiries and interpreting departmental and regulatory information
What YOU bring to the role:
- Knowledge of internal quality assurance programs, audits and protocols
- Knowledge of Laboratory Accreditation requirements and processes
- Knowledge of laboratory operations, processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- MLT, BSc or other relevant post-secondary education
- Capability of understanding the scientific and technical functions of the Operational departments
- Project governance and project management with respect to the quality department
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Capability to apply great attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities
- Capability to apply interpersonal skills and techniques to interact effectively with others at all levels within Dynacare
- Works in a fast-paced environment, with ability to manage multiple projects and respond to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Responds to employee and management needs often in stressful situations
Starting at $72,000/annually
The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
