Are YOU our next Financial Analyst?
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Brampton, Ontario. You will support strategic decision-making by delivering clear, insightful financial analysis and reporting for key business functions. You will be responsible for month-end close, preparing monthly financial reports,
analyzing performance against budgets, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. You will collaborate closely with department leaders to highlight trends, key drivers, and business opportunities, playing an integral role in
driving financial discipline and operational effectiveness across the organization.
Status: Full-time permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, regular hours

How YOU will make a difference:
  • Responsible for preparing and distributing month end financial department packages to Department Heads
    • Responsible for the monthly preparation of key financial indicator reports for assigned business functions.
    • Responsible for preparing analysis reports, budget vs. actual for revenue and expenses
    • Support the preparation of the annual budget and forecast for the assigned business functions.
    • Support the various stakeholders in developing and understanding their P&L’s, highlight key business drivers
    and emerging trends, and present other metrics as required.
    • Gather information from various internal departments to leverage existing data and enhance financial
    narratives and business insights for functional and department decision makers.
    • Responsible for preparing business cases and co-ordinate the approval process for capex related decisions.
    • Responsible for financial modelling as well as developing and carrying out financial analysis for various
    accounting functions within the department.
  • Assist Manager, Finance & Business Operations in Financial analyses
    • Assist the operations managers with various reports and financial analysis for their respective business area.
    • Collaborating with other functions within finance to deliver cohesive financial insights, support variance
    analysis, and participate in new ERP implementation, whenever applicable
What YOU bring to the role:
  • University graduate or enrolment in a recognized accounting program is also acceptable
    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a financial analyst and/or accounting role.
    Technical Skills
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Computer accounting programs knowledge preferred (Great Plains and Oracle)
    • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Excellent and proven analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
    • Experience of using AI/analytical tools preferred

    • Strong interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills
    • Superior oral and written communication skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to effectively manage
    constraints and competing priorities
    • Demonstrated success at building relationships and collaborating with a network of internal and external
    colleagues and subject matter experts
