Job Summary:
The role of the Collector Technician is to create value for CannAmm and its customers, through superior customer service. The Collector Technician is aligned to ensure that clients feel secure, valued and respected through all processes. The Collector Technician is a member of the CannAmm Operations Team. This position is assigned within the CannAmm network and may include, medical surveillance, mobile testing, RSAP and on the call back rotation (24/7). The Collector Technician will report directly to the Collection Site Supervisor/Manager Collection Site Services. The Supervisor (or Manager for locations without a supervisor) is the first point of contact in the areas of competency, quality, operational workflow, customer service, safety and administration (i.e. time sheet, scheduling). This position interacts daily with other members of the Operations team and is unique in that it has a direct relationship with clients and donors within the CannAmm network.
Location: Edmonton North, AB
Employment Type: Contract Full-Time (contract ends on September 26, 2025)
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600; On-call and Shy bladder rotation (37.5 hours weekly)

Key Responsibilities:
- Drug and Alcohol testing in-office, the collection and testing of samples, integrity testing, testing and/or shipping of samples, completion of paperwork and reporting to DER.
- Other testing includes Audiometric testing, Vision screening, Mask fit testing using Portacount as well as Spirometry testing.
- May conduct phlebotomy
- May include Mobile Testing using the mobile unit/truck
- Must maintain confidentiality of information and records
- Responsible for rotational on-call services, including drug and/or alcohol testing and health surveillance services.
- May include web booking services:
- Action web booking requests promptly.
- Handle outbound calls to coordinate occupational testing.
- Notate and document all call information according to standard operating procedures. - Duties also include reception and data management, including booking appointments, tracking results, registering donors, faxing and copying.
Knowledge, Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Willing to obtain certification as a DOT Collector with BAT Certification.
- Current Audiometric and Spirometry Technician Certificate, or willing to obtain.
- Phlebotomy certification required to perform phlebotomy duties
- Previous customer service experience in health-related field is an asset
- Travel may be required to other local collection sites
- Able to be on-call during evenings and weekends (reliable transportation is a must)

- Valid class 5 driver's license, clear driving record and access to reliable transportation is required.

- Ability to work with and be part of a team are required
