Work location: Mining site near Timmins, Ontario
Duties and responsibilities:
- Integrate health, safety, and quality standards, ensuring that all regulatory and internal aspects are taken into account ;
- Repair equipment by performing certain mechanical work ;
- Assist the Crusher Operator and replace them on occasion ;
- Quickly identify anomalies in the crushing plant ;
- Act as the eyes of the Shift Operator by performing inspections ;
- Operate heavy machinery ;
- Perform maintenance on the crusher ;
- Two years of experience as a day laborer or handyman-an asset ;
- Experience in crushing-an asset ;
- Class 5 driver's license ;
- Good physical condition ;
- Ability to work on site and in all weather conditions ;
- Knowledge of English - an asset ;
- Highly versatile and resourceful ;
- Hard-working, independent, and a good team player.
