Being a Laborer at Dubé means putting your skills and expertise to work to contribute to the success of our crushing plant project. It's an excellent entry point for honing your knowledge and advancing to other positions in the crushing division. It also means taking on tons of challenges, experiencing the excitement of a young, close-knit team, and participating in a large-scale mining project.

Status: Permanent full-time
Schedule: 14/14 night/day rotation
Work location: Mining site near Timmins, Ontario

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Integrate health, safety, and quality standards, ensuring that all regulatory and internal aspects are taken into account ;
  • Repair equipment by performing certain mechanical work ;
  • Assist the Crusher Operator and replace them on occasion ;
  • Quickly identify anomalies in the crushing plant ;
  • Act as the eyes of the Shift Operator by performing inspections ;
  • Operate heavy machinery ;
  • Perform maintenance on the crusher ;
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience as a day laborer or handyman-an asset ;
  • Experience in crushing-an asset ;
  • Class 5 driver's license ;
  • Good physical condition ;
  • Ability to work on site and in all weather conditions ;
  • Knowledge of English - an asset ;
  • Highly versatile and resourceful ;
  • Hard-working, independent, and a good team player.
