Start date: As soon as possible

Status: Permanent full time

Schedule: 14/14 day and night rotation – room and board at mine site

Workplace: Detour Lake Mine - Agnico Eagle located in northern Ontario

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair equipment by performing certain mechanical work
  • Assist the crusher operator and replace him on occasion
  • Quickly identify anomalies in the crushing plant
  • Be the eyes of the tower operator by performing inspections
  • Operate heavy machinery
  • Carry out maintenance of the crusher

Requirements:

  • Experience as an auxiliary, labourer, laborer or in crushing – an asset
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Good physical capacity
  • Ability to work on construction sites and be exposed to bad weather
  • Knowledge of the French language – an asset
  • Great versatility and resourcefulness
  • Be hardworking, autonomous and have a good team spirit
