Overview: Reporting to the Manager IT - SAP Operations, in this role you will collaborate with key business resources and colleagues, in providing SAP Functional support SAP ERP SD (Sales & Distribution) modules. Your technical skills are mandatory to find the root cause of problems and find solutions on either projects, support and impacts. You will also be offering the requested support to users and other IT groups in more than one SAP production instance.
Your Challenge:
- Understand business needs and changes to assess and identify impacts of those changes
- Maintain good relationships with key business stakeholders to proactively identify future business needs, follow up on delivered solutions and ensure solutions are being delivered with high customer satisfaction.
- Capture, analyze, translate and document business requirements.
- Evaluate requests to identify impacts to other modules and/or groups as well as request category (Nice to have/Defect/Enhancement).
- Write the test plan and scenarios applicable to the change and impacted areas.
- Find and configure solutions where applicable, perform unit test, integration, regression testing and user acceptance testing.
- Responsible to coordinate the implementations, documentation (Solution Design/Functional Specifications/ Change Requests/Test Plans/Cutover Plan etc) and activities for your change requests including the ticket in the tool.
- Understand and comply with Domtar’s internal and external audit policies and controls.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support for the production SAP environments
- Be available during business hours, and as required, after hours to provide operational and project support
- Provide transfer knowledge and coaching to colleagues when needed.
- Communicate issues/requests and solutions to requester, management and colleagues

Your profile/Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Bilingual French & English*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related discipline or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years related work experience in a similar position with Order-To-Cash environment and experience with the EDI functionality.
- Experience in configuration and delivery in SAP the following areas: Enterprise Structure, Sales, Shipping, Transportation, Route Determination, Billing, Pricing, Promotions, Rebates, Outputs, Account Determination, Taxes, Inter-company processes, Variant Configuration, and SD integration points with other modules
- Experience with interfaces, reporting, conversions and workflows.
Assets:
- Experience with SAP Process Orchestration (PO) for mapping to various EDI formats
- Knowledge of the Pulp & Paper Industry
- Experience in creating and using LSMW and/or WinShuttle tools.
- Smartsheet experience
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM & Q-Gate).
- Experience for the following EDI transmissions inbound and outbound but not limited to:
- EDI 850 (Purchase orders)
- EDI 855 (Order Confirmation)
- EDI 856 (Advanced Ship Notification)
- EDI 861 (Inbound - Goods Receipt Confirmation)
