Territory Manager at Dispomed

As a Territory Manager specializing in veterinary equipment, your role is essential and frontline. Your professional expertise helps establish and deepen trust relationships with veterinary teams in your territory to promote the sale of high-quality equipment manufactured and distributed by Dispomed. You will have the opportunity to advise and support clients in their veterinary practice opening projects, guide them in choosing equipment that meets their unique needs, and ensure their complete satisfaction. Communication and promotion of the true value of our equipment and services are at the core of Dispomed's commercial activities.

What to expect in this role

  • You will be responsible for strategically managing your territory and client base to maximize equipment sales and increase recurring revenue to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • You will be able to advise, guide, and train personnel at veterinary establishments on equipment, services, and products. To do so, you must maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the equipment and products in our portfolio.
  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the technical team in the field to identify and seize sales opportunities while orchestrating the installation of sold equipment.
  • You will be responsible for communicating customer needs in the field as well as competitive information to your manager and the marketing department.
  • You will have the opportunity to attend veterinary conferences and other relevant events in the region.

What you need to succeed

1. Required Qualifications

  • You have a College Diploma in Animal Health Techniques, a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have three or more years of recognized experience in managing your own sales territory and have developed your network of contacts in Ontario.
  • You have experience in sales in the animal health industry and/or sales of medical devices for human healthcare and/or dental devices and/or medical equipment sales.
  • You are able to meet the requirements of a hybrid territory manager role, including, but not limited to, car travel, airplane travel, and flexibility for occasional weekend work to attend veterinary conferences or professional meetings.
  • You are highly proficient with computer software in the Windows environment.
  • You have previous experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • You are fluent in French (asset).

Working conditions

  • Hybrid position: Between 60% and 80% telecommuting and 20% to 40% on the road.
  • Travel is expected for conferences or installations of new clinics in the assigned territory.
