Pour le compte d'un de nos clients et dans le cadre de nos activités sur programmes majeurs (Global & Challenger), nous recherchons un(e) mécanicien(ne) prévol M2.

Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la préparation finale des aéronefs avant vol, en assurant les inspections, essais et validations techniques dans le respect des normes Transport Canada et des exigences clients.

Vos responsabilités

  • Réaliser les inspections prévol et la mise en configuration avion

  • Préparer l’aéronef pour les essais au sol et en vol

  • Effectuer les tests fonctionnels et ajustements systèmes

  • Intervenir sur les systèmes mécaniques (hydraulique, carburant, commandes de vol, trains, etc.)

  • Participer aux essais moteurs et APU

  • Assurer la conformité et la validation avant libération avion

  • Collaborer avec les équipes qualité, méthodes et essais en vol

Profil recherché

Formation et expérience

  • DEC ou AEC en maintenance d’aéronefs

  • Licence M2 Transport Canada (atout majeur) ou EASA B1 Licence ou certification A&P

  • Minimum 5 ans d’expérience, idéalement en prévol

Compétences

  • Bonne maîtrise des systèmes avion (ATA)

  • Lecture de documentation technique (AMM, SRM)

  • Expérience en essais fonctionnels

  • Rigueur, autonomie et esprit d’équipe

  • Anglais technique afin de consulter la documentation technique

A major player in aeronautical subcontracting with over 20 years of experience, Derichebourg Aeronautics Services Canada operates in Boisbriand and supports leading aerospace OEMs. The company provides services across the entire aerospace value chain, including design, industrialization, assembly, technical support, and training.

About the Position

As part of our activities on major aerospace programs (Global & Challenger), we are seeking a Preflight Aircraft Mechanic M2.

In this role, you will be responsible for the final preparation of aircraft before flight, including inspections, testing, configuration, and technical validation, in compliance with customer requirements, Transport Canada regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preflight and daily inspections

  • Configure aircraft systems (“live aircraft configuration”)

  • Prepare aircraft for ground and flight testing

  • Perform functional tests and system adjustments

  • Work on aircraft systems, including:

    • hydraulic

    • pneumatic

    • fuel

    • flight controls

    • landing gear

  • Participate in engine and APU testing

  • Ensure technical validation before aircraft release

  • Collaborate with quality, methods, and flight test teams

ProfileEducation & Experience
  • DEC or AEC in Aircraft Maintenance

  • Transport Canada M2 License (strongly preferred or required) or EASA B1 license or A&P Certification

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in preflight operations

Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems (ATA chapters)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (AMM, SRM)

  • Experience with aircraft functional testing

  • Knowledge of preflight and ground test operations

  • Technical English for consulting technical documentation
