Deloitte Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead and support large-scale implementations based on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and custom platform solutions. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end Salesforce solutions, aligning business requirements with technical best practices, and ensuring successful delivery of Salesforce capabilities. You will be a trusted Salesforce technology advisor and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technical leads, developers, integration specialists, and Salesforce Product teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that drive business value. Additionally, you will be an effective coach and mentor for other Salesforce professionals that you will lead or work alongside.
- Lead the architecture, design and implementation of applications built using different Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing), CRM Analytics, MuleSoft and custom solutions using Salesforce Platform.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions with customers and internal teams.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
- Define and document technical architecture, system integrations, data models, and security frameworks. Ensure compliance to defined Data and Architecture standards within Deloitte Global
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solution blueprints and related artifacts.
- Map business requirements to Salesforce capabilities, determining when custom solutions are necessary.
- Contribute to the successful delivery and quality of technology solutions by driving technical discussions and resolving roadblocks.
- Collaborate with Delivery lead, to ensure on-time delivery with quality for all the releases.
- Guide development teams on Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration best practices.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce platform governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Conduct solution reviews, code reviews, and provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Product teams (TAM, Success Manager, etc.) and drive operational metrics, product reviews, releases, feature roadmaps, annual architecture reviews, etc.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends to provide thought leadership and innovation.
- Define data models, integration patterns, and security models.
- Oversee configuration, customization, and development activities as well as troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Support change management and user adoption efforts.
- Create technical prototypes and proof of concepts based on a set of requirements and/or roadmap. Describe and illustrate designs with appropriate justifications to be presented to the customers / stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in the definition and prioritization/scoping of business and functional requirements and project sizing.
- Review Salesforce solutions and recommend improvements related to stability, less customizations and scalability.
- Ensure overall quality of the product, stability and scalability. This includes defining Architecture standards, code quality controls and own quality throughout the implementation.
- Mentor, coach teams and ensure quality code processes are followed by all team members.
- Be the point of escalation and alignment for all Salesforce technology stakeholders.
- Monitor emerging technology trends within Salesforce ecosystem.
- Support pre-sales activities, change request process by defining solutions, effort estimations, and presenting to stakeholders.
- Drive Product and process innovations that improve efficiencies, delivers customer value and builds trust.

Qualifications
- Platform Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM Analytics, and custom objects.
- Development: Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce Lightning components.
- Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling principles, data sharing, and visibility considerations.
Integration and System Architecture: Extensive experience implementing integrations using MuleSoft and other middleware technologies like Informatica, expert in defining integration patterns, such as REST API’s, ETL, Platform Events, etc. Experience with Data integrations and connecting Salesforce to third-party applications and databases. - System Design: Knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Deployment: Extensive experience in DevOps and CI/CD processes - release management, source control, quality checks, and deployments.
- Security: Understanding of platform security capabilities, such as TLS and SSL, data security capabilities as applicable for regulatory and compliance applications.
- Environment Management: Knowledge of environment management, including sandboxes and production environments and Hyperforce.
- Salesforce Org health: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Operational metrics and proven experience managing Production Org health within acceptable Salesforce limits e.g. Governor limits, ROW lock errors, API limits, Apex code usage, test class coverage, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in Salesforce solution design and architecture, with a focus on Sales and Service Cloud.
- Proven experience leading large-scale Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud implementations in an enterprise environment.
- Salesforce certifications required: Salesforce Certified Sales and Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (or higher), CRM Analytics and Einstein Discovery Consultant, Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce AI Associate, etc.
- Deep understanding of Service Cloud capabilities, including Case Management, Knowledge, Omni-Channel, Service Console, and automation tools.
- MuleSoft experience with designing Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, to integrate with external applications.
- Strong knowledge of data migration, ETL tools, security, and compliance considerations within Salesforce.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
