Description
Edgebander Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an edgebander operator to join our custom cabinet and furniture manufacturing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and adjusting the edgebander to ensure a high-quality finish on melamine, MDF, and panel components.
Responsibilities
- Operate the edgebander. Perform machine adjustments and settings. Install edgebanding rolls.
- Check the quality of produced parts.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Read blueprints and production lists.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team.
- Adhere to health and safety standards.
- Experience with an edgebander (significant asset).
- Experience in cabinetry, cabinet making, or wood processing.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Permanent full-time position.
