PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan and supervise the complete realization of assigned projects. For this position, managed projects typically involve moderate complexity, risks, and exposure;
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define the scope of work, expected outcomes, and requirements;
  • Develop and implement project realization plans;
  • Establish resource and budget requirements, cost estimation, and schedule;
  • Assess project risks, develop and implement risk mitigation plans;
  • Monitor project realization against established schedules and ensure timely completion;
  • Supervise the activities of project team members and monitor task execution;
  • Inform appropriate stakeholders of project status;
  • Ensure projects are completed within prescribed timelines, in accordance with specifications, budget, and requirements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental, health, and safety standards;
  • May engage internal or external resources to perform some of the aforementioned tasks, including planners, estimators, and risk analysts.

Requested skills

Education and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, civil...) or architecture registered with the professional order, with at least 10 to 15 years of experience, including 5 years in the construction field.
  • Holding PMP certification.
Key Skills:
  • Experience in major projects ($ 50M+) with the Quebec public sector
  • Knowledge of SQI major project management process is an asset
  • Bilingual in both oral and written communication (French and English).
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, team management, and handling of complex operations.
  • Charismatic and pragmatic personality.
