We are looking for a Close Protection Officers (CPOs).
Responsibilities
- Provide personal protection for the client.
- Regularly assessing risks, vulnerabilities and threats
- Conduct foot patrols of the client’s residential property to detect and deter unwanted activities.
- Patrol and conduct surveillance of activities at various venues.
- Maintain diligent observation efforts throughout assignment.
- Perform security advances, as necessary.
- Produce timely, complete and articulate Incident Reports when necessary.
- Provide concise and intelligible verbal reports when necessary.
- Advanced understanding of technology-based protective applications
- Can properly and safely operate assigned vehicles during client movements and when driving administratively.
- Learning and memorizing entrances, exits and parking situations.
- Keeping confidential information safe
- Accompanying clients during travel
- Troubleshooting security system errors
- Performing surveillance while a client is at a particular place.
- Ensuring no other individuals or companies are participating in counter surveillance.
- Ensuring safety of principal and family members
- Risk assessment and planning to minimize threats.
- Establishing and maintaining secure environments
- Maintaining security of household and vehicles
- Using physical intervention as necessary
- Responding to medical emergencies
Essential requirements:
- Possess a valid Security license in the province of Ontario.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and client facing skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must have excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Must fluently read, speak and write the English language.
- Must always be punctual and dependable.
- Clean and valid driving license
- Excellent physical health
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant accreditation/qualifications
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Strong Base Knowledge in all Facets of Protective Operations with a minimum of One Year Experience Working in Corporate Executive Protection
- Security Guard License
- Close Protection, VIP Protection training
- Professional appearance
- Experience working with C-Suite Corporate Leaders
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
